COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has avowed to unveil a united Luhya presidential candidate in 2017 polls.
The no-nonsense workers spokesperson, Atwoli said it was time the community fetched its own candidate instead of being used by other communities as a treading stone to statehouse.
According to The Star, Atwoli says talks were underway and the candidate will be named in March 2017 in Kakamega.
‘Those who are not believing what we’re doing will be surprised that Luhyas can vote for one candidate,’ he was quoted by The Star.
