President Uhuru Kenyatta has annulled the position of former Police boss David Kimaiyo as Chairman of the Kenya Airports Authority.
In a gazette announcement released on Friday, the President unveiled that Mr Kimaiyo had been released from the senior position at KAA.
The statement also revealed that the position would now be occupied by direct former Chief of Defence Forces Julius Karangi.
‘I assign with immediate effect Major General Julius Karangi to be the non-executive chairman of KAA with immediate effect. The appointment of David Kimaiyo is revoked,’ read the notice.
